Mary’s Meals is serving more than 350 children in Ecuador
Ecuador is generally a relatively prosperous nation, ranking 88 out of 193 countries and territories in the Human Development Index (HDI).
The country is highly susceptible to natural disasters such as earthquakes, droughts, floods, landslides, and volcanic activity, and has experienced increasing violence and slowing economic growth in recent years.
We work with a local partner, Fundación Cristo Misionero Orante, to deliver school meals to more than 350 children in their place of education, many of whom are undernourished or haven’t had full or consistent access to education or learning opportunities.

Mary's Meals works in countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of many thousands of volunteers around the world, we are successfully feeding more than 2 million children every school day.
